On June 5th, 2019, seven students completed their studies at St. Joseph's Academy and were presented with an eighth-grade diploma by Rev. Fr. Todd Angele.

Most of these students have been in class together since Kindergarten, and it was with great joy that their families and friends celebrated this milestone. Speeches were given by the students with the top averages: Aidan Huddleston for the boys' school and Amy Hetrick for the girls' school. In addition to the presentation of diplomas, several groups of students performed choral pieces for the audience. Awards were also given out for the top students in each academic subject.

To end the evening, Fr. Angele announced the top house for the 2018-2019 school year. Jogues House took the honor this year, beating Solanus House by 95 points to win the trophy. Last year's winner, Kateri House, ended up in 3rd place but is poised for a comeback next year! William Hable was presented with an award for earning the highest number of individual house points this academic year and Kateri House had their name added to a new plaque listing the top fundraising house in the Rollerblade-a-Thon.

The evening ended with refreshments and students, parents, and teachers alike rejoiced at the end of another successful year.
