The 2019 St. Joseph's EFL Championship contenders: The Fire Blades and The Blue Whales
On Tuesday, November 26th, the Blue Whales faced off against the Fire Blades in the annual Eagles Football League Championship.
After a brief but exciting season of play, the top two teams vied for the coveted EFL trophy. Although favored to win by a large margin, the Fire Blades had to work hard to keep back the Blue Whales who were in fine form on Tuesday afternoon. On the sidelines, the entire SJA student body, wearing either red or blue to support their favorite team, cheered wildly. It was an exciting end to yet another season of Eagles football.
